Terms of Use

BumpCast is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. The terms below add to it. If they conflict, Apple's agreement applies.

Forecasts are guidance, not a guarantee

Turbulence forecasts are estimates from weather and flight data and can be wrong. BumpCast is for your comfort and planning only. It isn't a safety or navigation tool and doesn't replace instructions from your airline or crew. Always follow crew instructions and keep your seatbelt fastened when seated.

Flight details

Flight times, status, gates and other details may be late, incomplete or wrong. Check with your airline before you travel.

Connected email

If you connect an email account, you confirm it's yours or that you're allowed to use it. BumpCast reads it only to find flight bookings, as described in the email access page and Privacy Policy. You can disconnect at any time. Your use of Gmail or Outlook is still governed by Google's or Microsoft's own terms.

Subscriptions and passes

BumpCast Pro and Flight Passes are bought through Apple. Prices, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period, in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

Fair use

Don't misuse the app or its services. That includes trying to access other people's data, overloading our servers, or scraping or reselling forecasts.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and note significant changes in the app.
